A traditional Friday night event at Collieston Gala is the Quiz Night. Not to be assumed to be easy quiz night, as resident quiz master Nicola likes to challenge her quizee’s on lots of subjects.
This year was no exception as rounds included the world cup, arts and entertainmnt, trump v homer, planet earth, connections, general knowledge and music.
The village marquee was packed as usual as 17 teams of 4-6 entered, with mobiles and google banned for the evening. The winners were aptly named ‘and in first place’ who beat ‘the great fact hunt’ by 1 point.
Much fun and laughter was had by all as Nicola rounded the evening off with a little disco for those that felt the need to boogie.
Big thank you to Nicola for providing such a fun evening, to the community council for providing the bar and all the helpers that ensured the evening was enjoyed by all.
